Please read these Terms of Use carefully before purchasing or using any of our programs and services.
Terms of Use
The Programs and Services are owned and operated by Julie Stelting CEO Kids at Risk for Diabetes LLC (hereafter known as “Company”, “we”, or “us”). The term “you” (hereafter known as “Client”) refers to the purchaser or user or viewer of www.kidsatriskfordiabetes.com Programs or Services.
The words, design, layout, graphics, photos, images, information, materials, documents, data, databases and all other information and intellectual property accessible on or through this Website (“Content”) is our property and is protected by United States intellectual property laws.
Please read these Terms of Use carefully. This document states how you may use our Programs and Services and Program Materials and Facebook Community. We reserve the right to change these Terms of Use on these Programs and Services Program Materials and Facebook Community at any time without notice, and by using Programs and Services and Program Materials Facebook Community and its Content you are agreeing to the Terms of Use as they appear, whether or not you have read them. By using any of the Programs, Services or Program Materials, you agree to these Terms of Use and are legally bound by them.
If you do not agree with these Terms of Use, please do not use our Programs or Services or any of its Content or Program Materials.
Payment
The total price for this One on One Individual Consulting Service is $1897.00 USD. If paying by PayPal or debit card or credit card via PayPal, you give up permission to automatically charge your credit card or debit card as payment for your program without any additional authorization and you will receive an electronic receipt. If I choose to provide you with a PayPal invoice instead, you are required to manually pay it by the date due on the invoice or your Program will be put on hold until payment is received. If payment is not received by the date due or there is a problem with the payment transaction or method, you will be notified by email and then have a 3 day grace period to make the payment following the due date, otherwise your Program will be put on hold. If no payment is made within the 3 day grace period, your Program will automatically terminate and you will no longer be granted access.
Program and Services Use and Content
This one on one private counseling program is limited to three months duration. This program includes a prescheduled once a week phone consultation with Julie Stelting RN CDE for diabetes management or prediabetes management or gestational diabetes management. This service includes an email service for questions and answers. Emails will be answered once a week only and are not considered a substitute for the phone consultation. Skype calls in leu of phone calls must be preapproved and arranged at least one week in advance. After this three (3) month program, if the client wants to continue this service, a separate contract must be entered into. If client is unavailable for a scheduled phone call, A second call will be placed within 10 minutes. If client is unavailable, then it will be considered a missed appointment. Client will be allowed only one make-up phone session per three month contract.
If you have purchased additional Program, Service, Program Material, product or subscription or otherwise entered into a separate agreement with us, you will also be subject to the Terms of Use or Client Agreement per that purchase plus those Terms and Conditions, Disclaimer and Privacy Policy, which shall prevail in the event of a conflict. Online purchases may have additional terms of use/client agreement relating to that transaction.
By accessing, purchasing or using our Programs, Services, Program Materials in any way constitutes use of our Program, Services and Program Materials and your agreement to be bound by these Terms of Use.
By accessing or using our Programs or Services or Facebook Community or Website and its Content, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and that you agree to and to abide by these Terms of Use. Any registration by, use of or access to the Program, Services or Program Materials and its Content by anyone under age 18 is unauthorized without signed parent approval and unlicensed and in violation of these Terms of Use.
Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance
We do not collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age in compliance with COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act), and our Website and its Content is directed to individuals who are at least 13 years old or older.
Intellectual Property Rights
Our Limited License to You.
Our Programs, Services and Program Materials are solely owned by us and/or our affiliates or licensors, unless otherwise noted, and it is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
If you view, purchase or access our Program Materials through our Programs or Services, you will be considered our “Licensee” and are granted a limited license to our Programs, Services and Program Materials with restrictions. For the avoidance of doubt, all content obtained through our Programs or Services is our property. You are granted a revocable, non-transferable limited license for personal, non-commercial use only, limited to you only. This means you may not use our Programs, Services and/or Program Materials in any manner that has not been pre-authorized by us in writing. Any use of our Programs, Services or Program Materials in an unauthorized manner will constitutes an infringement of our rights.
You may download and/or print Program Materials for your own personal use.
You may not share, sell, reprint or republish any of our Programs Materials including downloadables and /or email correspondence, newsletters, blog posts, articles, or other publicly shared information for resale or mass reproduction for you own business use. Any use of trademarks, logos, taglines, meta tags or other text utilizing trademarks is strictly prohibited without our expressed written permission. Use of trademarks, logos or taglines are subject to their Terms of Use provisions provided when our written permission is approved.
All rights not expressly granted in these terms or any expressed written license, are reserved by Kids At Risk For Diabetes LLC.
When you purchase or enroll in our Program, Service or any of its Content, you agree that
- You will not copy, duplicate, share or steal our Program or Services or Program Materials or Website or Content or any part of them. You understand that doing anything with our Intellectual Property is contrary to these Terms of Use and the limited license we are providing to you herein and is considered theft, and we reserve our right to prosecute theft to the full extent of the law.
- You are permitted from time to time to download and/or print one copy of individual pages of the Program or Program Materials, for your personal, non-commercial use, provided that you give us full attribution and credit by name, keep intact all copyright, trademark and other proprietary notices and, if used electronically, you must include the link back to the Website page from which the Program Materials was obtained.
- You may not in any way at any time use, copy, adapt, imply or represent that our Program, Service, Program Material or Website or its Content or Facebook Material is yours or created by you. By downloading, printing, or otherwise using our Program Content or Program Materials for personal use you in no way assume any ownership rights of the Program or Program Materials or Facebook Materials – it is still our property.

Your License to Us. By posting or submitting any material on or through our Programs, Services, Program Material, Facebook Community, Website and/or our affiliate such as comments, posts, photos, images or videos or other contributions, you are representing that you are the owner of all such materials and you are at least 18 years old.
When you submit to us or post any comment, photo, image, video or any other submission for use on or through our Website and/or affiliate Facebook pages, you are granting us, and anyone authorized by us, an unlimited, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, unrestricted, worldwide license to use, copy, modify, transmit, sell, exploit, create derivative works from, distribute, and/or publicly perform or display such contributions, in whole or in part, in any manner or medium, now known or developed in the future, for any purpose, and granting us the right to make it part of our current or future Program, Service, Program Material, Website and/or our affiliate Facebook pages and its Content. To use our Programs, Services, Program Materials, Facebook Community and it’s Content, Website or its Content, we may seek personal data including your name, e-mail address, street address, city, state, billing information, or other personally identifying information (“Confidential Information”), or you may offer or provide a comment, photo, image, video or any other submission to us when visiting or interacting with our Program, Services, Program Materials, Facebook Community and it’s Content, Website and its Content (“Other Information”). By providing such Confidential Information or Other Information to us, you grant us permission to use and store such information.

Viewing by Others
Note that whenever you voluntarily make your Confidential Information or Other Information available for viewing by others online through our Program, Services, Program Materials, Facebook Community, Website or its Content, it may be seen, collected and used by others, and therefore, we cannot be responsible for any unauthorized or improper use of the Confidential Information or Other Information that you voluntarily share online or in any other manner.
Online Commerce
Certain sections of the Programs, Services, Program Materials, Products, Facebook Community, Website or its Content may allow you to make purchases from us or from other merchants. If you make a purchase from us on or through our Programs, Services, Program Materials, Products, Facebook Community, Website or its Content, all information obtained during your purchase or transaction and all of the information that you give as part of the transaction, such as your name, address, method of payment, credit card number, and billing information, may be collected by both us, the merchant, and our payment processing company (i.e. PayPal).

We have no responsibility or liability for these independent policies of the payment processing companies and Merchants. In addition, when you make certain purchases through our Programs, Services, Program Materials, Facebook Community, Website or its Content, you may be subject to the additional terms and conditions of a payment processing company, Merchant or us that specifically apply to your purchase. Storage
All data and Confidential Information is stored through a data management system. This data and Confidential Information can only be accessed by those who help manage that information in order to deliver e-mail or otherwise contact those who would like to receive our correspondence. You agree and acknowledge that we, including but not limited to my team, staff, and affiliates and those who manage the data management system may have access to you Confidential Information.
Passwords
To use certain features of our Programs, Services, Program Materials, Facebook Community, Website or its Content, you may need a username and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the username and password, and you are responsible for all activities, whether by you or by others, that occur under your username or password and within your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized or improper use of your username or password or any other breach of security. To help protect against unauthorized or improper use, make sure that you log out at the end of each session requiring your username and password.
It is your responsibility to protect your own username and password from disclosure to others. We cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your username, password or account information. If you share your username or password with others, they may be able to obtain access to your personal information at your own risk.
By using our Programs, Services, Program Materials, Facebook Community Content, Website and its Content you agree to enter true and accurate information on the Website and its Content. If you enter a bogus email address we have the right to immediately inactivate your account.
We will use our best efforts to keep your username and password(s) private and will not otherwise share your password(s) without your consent, except as necessary when the law requires it or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary, particularly when disclosure is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be causing injury to others or interfering with our rights or property.

In the event of cancellation or termination, you are no longer authorized to access the part of the Program, Services, Program Materials, Facebook Private Pages, Website or Content affected by such cancellation or termination. The restrictions imposed on you in these Terms of Use with respect to the Programs, Services, Program Materials, Facebook Private Pages, Website and its Content will still apply now and in the future, even after termination by you or us.
Refund Policy: It is the company’s intention for Client to be happy with the Program. However, because company has invested considerable time and effort in the Program, if Client decides to withdraw at any time for any reason, Client is still fully responsible for making all Program payments.
- Refunds cannot be made for downloadable digital items.
- Cancellation and refunds are available for subscribers to the Phone Consult for a limited time only. If you need to request a refund for whatever reason, please contact Julie@Kidsatriskfordiabetes.com. Company reserves the right to prorate the refund; their decision will be final and without appeal.
- It is not possible to cancel or postpone your course, apart from under the circumstances in item 2 above.
- Your access to the Online Course Service may be terminated by written notice via the email address you provided at the start of the program if you are in material breach of these terms and the breach is not remedied within the period of 14 days after written notice of the breach has been given to you. If we reasonably believe your breach of these terms affects our lawful operation of the Online Course Service or third party customers we may suspend your access to the Online Course Service at any time.
Notification of Changes
We may use your contact information to inform you of changes to the Website or its Content, or, if requested, to send you additional information about us. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to change, modify or otherwise alter our Website, its Content and this Privacy Policy at any time. Such changes and/or modifications shall become effective immediately upon posting our updated Privacy Policy. Please review this Privacy Policy periodically.
